 NON-MOTORIZED PATHWAY PROJECT

Contract 10-053

Sealed bids will be received by Northfield Township, at the office of the Township Clerk at 8350 Main Street, Whitmore Lake, Michigan 48189, up to 10:00 A.M., prevailing local time on July 13, 2011 and then publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of Contract 10-053.

The work consists of removal of existing sidewalk, construction of new concrete non-motorized pathway and construction of new wooden boardwalk.

The Drawings and Project Manual under which the Work is to be done are on file and may be examined at the office Northfield Township and of the engineer, Boss Engineering, 3121 E. Grand River Avenue, Howell Michigan 48843: beginning June 28, 2011.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the ENGINEER at 3121 E. Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan 48843, 517.546.4836 by purchase for sum of $50 per set for paper copies beginning June 28, 2011. There will be no refunds or return of Bidding Documents. The purchaser must supply the name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and facsimile number of the individual or firm to whom addenda, if any, can be directed.

Bidding documents may be obtained after June 28, 2011 from the Boss Engineering website at www.bosseng.com at no cost. The bidder shall supply the name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and facsimile number of the individual or firm to whom addenda, if any, can be directed. 

A bid bond in the form of certified check, bank check, or a bid bond in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required with each bid.

The right is reserved by OWNER to accept any Bid, and to waive irregularities in bids.

No Bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving Bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
