You will be voting at the Whitmore Lake Middle School Gym, 8877 Main Street for the August and November elections. We are doing this on a temporary basis for these two elections and if everything works out well, will be making it a permanent change.

There are several new laws this year. 1. All voters must now show picture identification or sign an affidavit saying they do not have identification on them in order to receive a ballot at the polls. 2. Absentee ballot applications cannot be issued without a specific request from the voter. If you are on the permanent AV list in the Clerk's office, you have requested an application already so you will get the application automatically as always. If you are 60 and older and were getting an application in the mail but you were not on the permanent AV list, please call the office to request to be permanent (734) 449-2880 x17.
I am always looking for interested individuals to become election inspectors. Presidential elections always bring a heavy turnout so I must staff the precincts accordingly. If you are interested in being an election inspector, you must be registered to vote in the State of Michigan; be willing to commit to a very long day; and be willing to take training and get certified.
