Office Closed per State Order



The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced a new Epidemic Order that will go into effect on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 and remain in effect until Dec. 8, 2020.  Per the state issued order, work places that are able to, must close and work should be completed remotely unless it is strictly necessary for an employee to be in person to complete their job duties.

In accordance with the MDHHS Pause to Save Lives order, the Northfield Township Offices will be CLOSED effective Wednesday, November 18, 2020 until further notice.
The Northfield Township Fire and Police Departments will remain OPEN. 
The Meals on Wheels Program through the Northfield Township Community Center will deliver its meals as scheduled tomorrow.  The rest of their schedule is too be determined.

Township employees will work from home whenever possible.  Employees will continue to monitor their emails and voicemails.  Incoming payments will be processed on a weekly basis.  Payments by check can be mailed or placed in either of the locked 24-hour Drop Boxes available at the Township Office (8350 Main St.).  Credit/Debit card payments can be completed through the Township website or by calling 1 (833) 733-6290.  There is a 3% processing fee (minimum fee of $2.00) charged by our credit processing company for all credit/debit card payments.
