US-23 Flex Route Phase 2
MDOT will be constructing Phase 2 of the US-23 Flex Route from south of M-36 to I-96 beginning this spring.  The US-23 Flex Route Phase 2 extension focuses on traffic safety, operations, infrastructure condition, and the directional peak period congestion along the US-23 corridor. Prior to construction beginning in 2023, motorists can expect to see preliminary work, such as tree removal and utility work.

Construction on Phase 2 of the US-23 Flex Route is expected to begin May 2023 and continue through 2026.
